The Pooch

So, my pooch has finally popped. It only took 9 weeks. I'm going to be huge. I will share a picture in a little bit. I can't believe overnight it just doubled. Yesterday nothing really there.. today there is something in there. Weird.

I have been feeling really sick in the morning's and in the late evening's. Hopefully it will end soon. I have been counting down the weeks/days until the first trimester is over. Though some say maybe the sickness will not go away, I need something to look forward to. Other than that I feel fine. I need to adjust to the sleeping on the sides and going to the bathroom at least 4 times a night, but that's been the easy part. I am so exhausted by 8 30 that it is easy to fall asleep.

Happy Valentine's Day!!

I am so greatful that after 9 years there is still some much love to share between Travis and I. Happy Valentine's sweetheart. I will always love you.

Also we are celebrating a birthday today. Happy 4th or 28th Birthday Bogie!!. We love you so much. You are momma's love bug.

Doctor's Appointment

I went to the doctor on Monday for the first offical pregnancy appointment. And yes, they confirmed it. I am 7 weeks and have a due date of September 29th, 2008. Now I thought this would jazz me up in the excitement, but now it's luke warm. It probably has to do with not hearing the baby's heartbeat. Or that I am just really nervous. Anyway, they told me things that I pretty much knew from reading several books already (thanks Claudia). So , the next appointment will be in a few weeks where I will meet with the doctor for the first time. I just saw the nurse practioner this time. Then maybe it will become more real.
I also got Travis' nasty cold which I am sure everyone has at the moment as well. So on top of morning sickness , I have a stuffy nose and a sore thoart.

This is going to be a long haul.

Sick

I am so sick. It's like a hangover without the party. It hit me like a truck on Saturday, but I eat some lunch and laid low and actually felt better as the day went on. Sunday, totally fine. Today , I feel like dog poo. I can't seem to keep my eyes open or want to stop vomiting. Oh and the best part, (those of you that have gone through this before will know what I talking about) my husband in the nicest way he can, pretty much told me to "man up". So I gave him the finger of course. Guys have no clue what your body is going through and I always think it's laughable when such things leave their mouths.
Just thought I would rant a little about the morning sickness. Hopefully it will end soon.
Oh and revenge is sweet. Travis got a cold and he's being a HUGE baby. Love it!!!

Our family so far...

Shocked!!

Our adventure begins with..."Really"? Travis and I have been together forever (almost 9 years) , and I think this is the biggest surprise in our relationship we have ever had. After only a month of trying we are now with child. I know, close your mouths and stop peeing yourselves. It was just a shock to us as it is you.

We are very excited, but more freaked out than anything. We both have never been around babies that much and really have no idea what we are doing. I am so glad that Nicole, Diana, Elishia and Claudia have and are going through this a little ahead me , so when I have stupid questions, I don' t feel so stupid.

I know I said I wouldn't do a blog , but just maybe this will help me from not being sooooooo freaked out. If I write about the ups and downs than I can let go of them easier and move on. Hope you enjoy.
