6 month Check Up

Jonathan had his 6 month check up yesterday and everything went great. He weighed in at 16 lbs and 1 oz. This put him in the 10th-24th percentile. Thank goodness. I started to think I was doing something wrong. Before he was dipping below the 5th percentile. The doctor was super happy as was I and Trav. His head measured at 44 cm 50th percentile and he was 27 inches long also 50th percentile. He had a couple of shots and was really good. A little sensitive because he had missed his nap before our appointment. But this was the first time he didn't wake up in the middle of the night after getting his shots. We are just so glad that our gorgeous son is healthy and happy.

BTW- two more teeth came in this week. That's a total of 6. With more on the way. I don't know how much longer I can really nurse him. I dream every night that he has a full set of chopper's. More like a nightmare. Yikes!

More Teeth

More and more teeth!

Uh-Oh

So 2 days ago Jonathan figured out how to pull himself up and stand like a big boy. Like he had been thinking about it for awhile and decided that Tuesday was the day to conquer this task. Amazing. We had to lower his play pen and now he looks like he is in baby jail. So funny. Check the before and afters. I love his little escape artist face.

I know soon he will be crawling and walking. We are in trouble.

Creepin'

Jonathan has been getting around lately. He is not quite crawling , but creepin'. He looks like he is trying to do the worm. It's really funny until he starts to get upset that he is not going anywhere. Check it out.

Easter

We hope everyone had a great Easter Sunday. We certainly did. We had such a beautiful day with the sun shining and all blue skies. Travis, Jonathan, and I went to brunch with the Vandagriff's at Duke's as per tradition. We had a great time and a great view. Jonathan was stopped by everyone that saw him yesterday. We was in our opinion the best dressed kid of the day. Not to mention the cutest. He looked so handsome and ready to hit the links with Grandad soon. And I was very surprised that he didn't take off the hat once. What a trooper.

Workin'

This is Jonathan hard at work. He is such a pleasure to bring to the office everyday. He plays so good by himself and has a great time. I kind of feel guilty, like I am ignoring him, but he seems to not mind at all. Trav and I were both talking about how lucky we are to have a such a sweet and cute little boy. We love you so much doody's.

Love the orange nose in every picture. He loves squash, carrots, and sweet potatoes. And everyday his nose gets stained. Poor kid. At least it's not self tanner.

Better View

I posted one picture twice. One day I will get the hang on this whole blog deal.

Teeth, teeth, and more teeth

Jonathan is getting teeth like crazy. I finally got some pictures worth posting. The two on the very bottom are in, but the two on the top are coming in any day. I feel so bad for him. He squeals in pain, but there really isn't much I can do. I just squeeze him tight and give him lots of kisses. Hang in there kiddo.
