We hit up Disneyland this last Sunday with the Spaulding's. Perfect day to go. With the 2 football games going on that day we walked on to most every ride. It was awesome to rock the D-land with friends. J and Iz had a great time and we still got home early enough to watch the 2 nd football game. Great day indeed. 
Christmas was a little different this year. Both Travis and Jonathan were sick the week leading up (Travis) and the week of (Jonathan). Not so fun for any of us. I curse that stomach flu. We managed to enjoy ourselves and take the days off and relax. Nothing too crazy a lot of reality shows ,cuddling, throwing up, cleaning up, cooking, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, sleeping, eating, throwing up again, you know typical holiday shenanigans. We wish that the "doodle" felt better on Christmas but he had a few moments of energy and it was fun to watch him light up at each new toy that was unwrapped. It took us 3 days to open his presents. This kid is loved by many and we are so thankful to have such wonderful friends and family that were so generous to him this year. All in all a Christmas to remember.
We went to go see Santa on Sunday and I almost got a crying picture, but no such luck. Santa starting clapping Jonathan hands and he stayed cool and collected. Not the picture I was hoping for , but still really cute.
We were lucky enough to be invited to Cannon's 1st birthday party at MyGym. Jonathan was hesitate at first , but started to warm up to all the slides to climb, balls to throw , and cars to ride around in. Oh and of course the bubbles. All the kids had a great time until it was time to eat and we had to vacate the gym. The little girls were okay with it , but the boys were hungry for more playtime. Cannon dancing with the bubbles.Jonathan has not exactly been light on his feet lately. He took a couple of hard digger's the last few days with the last one ending in tears and a band aid. So we gave him an otter pop to calm him down. Not the best thing in the world , but come on this kid hit head in pretty much the same spot 3 days in a row. If anyone deserved a treat it was him. Slow down buddy, we love you.

We took Jonathan to the pumpkin patch at the mall this year and he wasn't really that into it. It was pretty cold and I think the Scarecrows and hay freaked him out. We took a couple of pics and called it a night. When we went to carve pumpkins he wasn't into that either. But liked the finished product.
On Halloween night we dressed up our little rapper and headed down Main Street in search of candy. There were some great houses that were totally decked out and J had a blast. He didn't want to leave the houses though . He wanted to hang out after he got the candy. So glad that he didn't get scared and had a great time. Can't wait for next year!
Please meet hippo. This is Jonathan newest friend and will not travel without. He drags hippo everywhere he goes and even managed to pee on him. Long live hippo.
We had Jonathan's 1st birthday at Angels Playground in Costa Mesa with a camping theme. The tent and the greatest playground in OC was a big hit. We had bbq brats and hot dogs and a awesome birthday cake. Jonathan's forced friends seemed to have a good time with the party favors(chalk, mardi gras beads, squirt guns) and wrestling each other in the tent. We wanted to thank everyone for coming and helping with J man's first party.
We love you so much baby and we can't believe how blessed we are to have to you.

Climbing up the slide. Such a boy.We recently went to Disneyland and probably chose the hotter day of the summer for Jonathan's first time. He went on all rides that had air conditioning and he was very curious about everything. But by far the place he enjoined the most was Mickey's house. We waited in line to get a picture with Mickey and Jonathan let out the biggest yell of excitement when we laid eyes on Mickey. We can't wait to go back and hit the rides in the winter that didn't have air conditioning. Haha.
Jonathan and I are taking full advantage of this work from home thing. To rid ourselves of cabin fever we head over to Lake Park to play. He is an awe of the big kids and loves to get his swing on.
